Arkold’s Blog

After drink for two days, i just want to write, Merry Christmas.

Arkold Blog seems to have a problem under IE (I’m testing in 6 version) and i’m not sure if is the same in IE7, but I guess is the same.

 I will not waste my time fixing this for IE users, so please try Konqueror or Opera browsers. (Or Firefox, I don’t like it but if you see my site correctly there, is the same shit for me)

 Sorry for the problem.

Just wondering about why do i have a blog, why I write what I already wrote here? Really, that is interesting, all start when I saw another blogs, the most of them are about technology, another of them where personal blogs, others developers blogs, and etc, i wanted to do one!

How do I started?
First, choose a good blog engine, that was the hard part, i coded ArkCMS1 FE, 2 FE and 3 LE, Okay! There way always good and they work fine (ArkCMS 3 LE Just was sucky and a waste of my time), I said, let’s try Wordpress, it seems to be good (I used to do a gaming blog and a developers blog before, why not to my personal one?)

Second step, Search for a good hosting…
I tried my localhost, but my upload is very slow and really, i don’t have a UPS and the power connections in Mexico aren’t the best (Crash one time per month minimum), I had a dattatec hosting but it expired just 1 week before I start to think in my personal blog, later i remember wrzasq gave me a little space to host ODA06 and other sites (adding google ads for sure) so I uploaded it in this hosting

Later, what I will talk about?
A “blog” for me isn’t a journal, so I will not talk about daily things, or weekly, so… What? An idea come, I will talk about what I care and nothing more, maybe parties, multimedia, technology things,
I don’t know, whatever my attention take cares.

Yeah, nobody will read it…
I considered, why i make it? nobody will read it anyway, but for me this blog, is like a shot of that moment of my life, a moment when i said: I need to write about this, something with what i can remember good times, or bad times maybe.

For you, what is a blog? Do you considered to one? Why?

After alot of petitions from Ruly to put comments in hes blog (pretty good but sadly it is full of Venezuela things, like in this days, he put all about votations, everything what reall i dont like) But well, is a good and well updated technology blog, is in spanish, have the newer stuff, not like Xakala or other SL Blog but is growing fast and it is already in top 100 venezuelan blogs, luck for Ruly with his blog!
