Hello! Today is a great day!
Finally ODA06 - OTServ Development Awards 2006 has entered voting stage. First we would want to thank every site that helped in announcing ODA website. To remind you all what ODA is - this is an initiative to award best products related to OTServ project. We wish to show what was the progress in work on all those stuff as well as we hope this action will help OTS growing and will involve more people to co-operate with it. After 256 days of submiting products to our list, 100 days before the end of the year we entered final stage. In each category (if there were more then 5 items in it) we selected 5 products which (in our opinion) were best. We selected them from the list which you gave us during this year. Now, for 100 days (until the 31st of December), you will be able to vote on our site - [url]http://www.tibia4.net/[/url] to decide which one is “the most best” in each category. After entering that site you will see form where you will have to put your e-mail address. Message with special unique voting link will be sent there and you will be able to finish procedure. This year you will be able to vote in 5 categories: [list] [*][b]Non-CVS releases[/b] - OTServ releases that extends basic CVS version (or maybe are even written from scratch?). [b]Note that only releases with included source code were approved - OTS is GPL-licensed and releases without such code are ILLEGAL.[/b] [*][b]Tools[/b] - Usefull client-side (mostly) tools to make using and playing OTServ easier. [*][b]Developers[/b] - people who helped most in OTS development in this year. [*][b]PHP scripts[/b] - [b]PHP[/b]-based scripts for OTServ to build websites for it. [*][b]OTS-related websites[/b] - websites such as communities, servers lists or services about OTServ. [/list] We dont know (yet) what will be the awards. Hope we will be able to provide some for winners :). Also we would like to thanks all stupid people who cant read and were submiting really funny things there including theirs passwords to servers.
